Lehmann Maupin returns to Art Basel Hong Kong for the 11th time with a presentation that foregrounds the gallery’s global approach by bringing together artists who work across New York, Seoul, Los Angeles, London, and beyond.

These groundbreaking artists, including Lee Bul, Marilyn Minter, David Salle, and Sung Neung Kyung, are individually known for consistently pushing the limits of their respective disciplines. Here, the works on view explore the body as both subject and medium across performance, painting, and sculpture.

As part of the fair’s Kabinett sector, the gallery will present a curated selection of new paintings and an interactive sculpture by Marilyn Minter. Minter, whose debut exhibition in Seoul is on view at Lehmann Maupin through April 27, explores what the artist calls “a pathology of beauty,” examining both societal gender norms and the art historical canon through images intended for pleasure.
